H Family Newborn Session | Columbus Newborn Photographer

Baby Peyton is the youngest of 2 girls in the H family. Her parents wanted to be surprised this time around and they are thrilled that big sister Ryann now has a little sister. Ryann was filled with giggles during our session which made taking her picture a breeze. With her being 2 years old, we just let her do her thing and I just snapped away as she read books and while her Daddy was giving her tickles. I think this family will be filled with lots of laughter with two girls!

H Family Hospital Session | Columbus Birth Photographer

I love the intimacy of doing a hospital session. The room is just filled with new parent love. This is such an important part of your child’s life as well as your journey as a parent. So very much worth documenting.

I went to visit baby Peyton at the hospital the day after she was born. I couldn’t believe how tiny she was! My little guy is only 3 months old and I feel like he is a giant compared to her. It is amazing how you forget just how small newborns are. Just check out how sweet she is below.

Lucy turned 1 and she celebrated with a cake smash! This session was tons of fun to document. Lucy had a blast digging into her yummy cake her mom Emily made for her. With a cake smash session the messier the better!

Ray and Lauren welcomed their sweet little peanut Annabelle on a very special day… my birthday! They wanted to be surprised about their baby’s gender, so finding out Annabelle was a girl was very exciting. She joins a family of mostly girls which has also been known as ‘The Rugby Curse’. See Lauren’s dad and my dad played rugby together back in the day. There are quite a few rugby men who have had all girls… known as the ‘curse’. Sure, sure, girls can play rugby too… but many of theses rugby guys have envisioned teaching their little boys how to pass a ball and taking them to countless rugby games. I’m all for gender equality but there is something different about having a girl. Lauren’s dad has all girls and now Lauren and her sister both have only girls. Maybe the rugby curse will be broken when they decide to eventually expand their family. We will see!

V Family- Pregnancy Announcement! – Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer

Jenna has a big secret to share… she is pregnant! She contacted me early in her pregnancy wanting to do a session to announce to her family and friends that she is expecting a baby. We filled out a cute little chalkboard and wrote sweet things like ‘I’m going to be a big sister!’ for their daughter to hold (they already have big sister Alexis). I think this is such a fun and clever way to share pregnancy news!
